The Lincoln Memorial has 36 columns around the building, symbolizing the states when there was the nort and the south. On the top of the building, all the states are listed; this symbolizes that this country was meant to be united.

Korean War Monument (Henry)
On every face of these brave soldiers, they all have different emotions. This symbolizes the whole war, including fear, pride, and death.
Little Round Top (Henry)
Little round top was amazing. It is hard to believe that I was standing exactly where Union soldiers shot. Although the cannons were full of rust, it was still amazing to see an 1861 built cannon. You could see for miles of Pennsylvania, which was probably key for the Union. The cannon was at the bottom of Little Round Top.
Confederate Lines
Our tour guide helped us visualize the battlefield from the perspective of the confederate artillery. Adjacent was the memorial for Confederate General Robert E. Lee who surveyed and commanded the engagment. -G
Gettysburg Museum
Ready, FIRE!
Our group learning the artillery firing procedure. The crew was able to do 8 cycles in one minute. During the civil war, two firings per minute was consdidered well done. -G
Gettysburg was great. It is one of the most interesting battles of the civil war. Union general george Meade prevented confederate general Robert e. Lee from taking over D.C.
my favorite part of gettysburg was the ghost tour. our tour guide was really nice and allowed us to use equipment to contact ghosts. a series of skirmishes took place all over gettysburg. in the town we saw bullet holes and logded in cannon balls in the walls.
i enjoyed gettysburg. miles
. They were good leaders, and under them humans started to grow and learn.

The Battle at Gettysburg- Math (Henry)
The battle at Gettysburg was the turning point for the Union. Around 11,000 died, while 40,000 soldiers were wounded. This adds up to 51,000 people, about 20 times the amount of people in Gettysburg. In total, nearly 2 percent of all Americans got killed due to the battle.
