fredom trail

the freedome trail is a 3 1/2 mi one way self tour. their are 16 stops along the way. the trail is made of brick and some times just a red line painted on the ground. about every 50 feet there are placks (like the one in the pic) that says freedom trail. it starts in the Boston commons and ends on buncker hill. we only traveled about 1 1/2 of the trail and then went to look at other monuments like the old north church (in the pic) this is the church that the lights were hung to tell paul revere what path the british army was taking to concort. they were going there to go take the wepons that the colinests were storing. the colinests army was all farmers and yet they won and ambushed them all the way back to boston. -Matthew

Central Park (Henry)

The prettiest park I've ever been to. It is fun to climb the rocks, look at the runners, the horses, kids, or just the woods. I could live here.

One World Trade Center

As we near the 10th anniversary of 9/11, I wondered how our students would react to visiting Ground Zero. Most on our trip were only 4 years old on that tragic day. They seemed to be most interested in the future and snapp?ed many pictures of the construction of the One World Trade Center. -G

Central park, very nice and green. Very healthy to be walking around in the nice air.///. Ibrahim

This is the Statue of Liberty. The Statue of Liberty was made by a famous Irish architect that has made two other statues that are much like it. The statue is made of copper that has turned green over the years. It used to be shinier than a new penny. The inerdes of the statue are several observation decks that are connected by many spiral staircases. Tourists can go up in it to look out on the harbor and the city. It is a beacon for all those who travel to New York by sea and air. It is Lady Liberty.

Lady Liberty

The Statue of Liberty was given to us 100 years after our independence from Britain. When given to us, the statue was originally copper. Due to oxidation, it turned green.
