This is where the lexington battle was fought. It was about 70 patriots vs 700 british soldiers. The patriots stood their ground, but someone shot and this started the battle. Nobody knows who shot, or if anyone actually shot. 8 were killed, 10 were injured. The british cheered after the battle, and this got the patriots angry and started the real war.
